CORTEC Model CX3 (Hydraulic Piston)
The CORTEC model CX3 is a hydraulic double acting piston operated drilling choke. CORTEC’s piston operator design allows for rapid flow control adjustments. The block style body allows for the versatility to adapt to a wide variety of end connections types including ANSI, API and Hammer Union options. Chokes and control systems can be configured to customer specifications upon request.

- Available up to 15,000 PSI
- SS RTJ weld overlay on inlet/outlet grooves as a standard
- Tungsten carbide reversible trim set allows for extended service life of common wear components
- Optional gantry system provides for field friendly service and maintenance operations
- Wear resistant nose cone for extended wear protection
- Two tungsten carbide wear sleeves installed in outlet spool for extended wear protection
- Digital position indicator
- Gate, seat, stem and bonnet removal tools available upon request
