These 9 Boarding Shutdown Valve (BSDV) assemblies are a portion of a larger project order for a major player in the GOM. They are API 6A 5-1/8” bore valves rated to 10,000 PSI. The valves are metal to metal seated and have CRA cladding in seal gland areas. This equipment will be installed on an FPSO and will replace existing OEM valves that do not comply with BSEE’s mandate for safety valves complying to 30 CFR 250, Subpart H for BSDV’s. CORTEC was able to supply these models in a custom length to fit within the current equipment spacing by utilizing a studded API 5-1/8” 10,000 PSI flange face with compact API adapter spools
