API 16C Dual Choke Control System

The CX-WC control panel can operate both gear and piston-actuated chokes and easily integrates with CORTEC’s efficient and cost-effective CX-EC 3.0 Setpoint MPD Choke Control System through a single control panel. The CX-WC facilitates both remote and manual operation from the driller’s cabin. Using this control panel, operators can transition quickly and seamlessly from MPD operations to well control within seconds, all from a safe remote location.
This CX-WC control panel is equipped with a 316 stainless steel enclosure and includes two air-driven hydraulic pumps (primary and secondary) with a hand pump backup, a 5-gallon accumulator, and a 10-gallon reservoir. It features electronic choke pressure sensors, choke position indicators, and a pump stroke counter. The panel is being shipped for use in drilling operations in the field.
