The position is located at our Port Allen, LA facility.

Job Summary:

As Foreman of our Assembly and Test Department, you’ll oversee a skilled team of technicians who build and test ball valves, check valves, and flowline assemblies. You’ll create a positive, organized workspace where precision and teamwork thrive, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of mechanics and technicians through daily work assignments, personnel development and frequent feedback. Responsible for recruiting, mentoring, leading, training and supervising up to 6 mechanics and technicians
  • Plan, organize and execute a production schedule to allow for an on-time delivery and efficiently distribute workload to the team
  • Ensure all work is being performed in accordance with procedures, specifications and company standards
  • Partner with engineering and production departments to implement improvements in design and ease of assembly
  • Ensure employee safety through regular assessments of equipment/tooling condition, training, PPE use, and implementation of solutions to mitigate risks
  • Support the maintenance of all assembly and test equipment and tooling
  • Promote a culture of cleanliness, attention to detail, continuous improvement & discipline.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience troubleshooting manufacturing operations, especially assembly & test processes
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ERP systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills along with an ability to effectively and professionally communicate with a diverse group
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Good computer and organizational skills
