CORTEC is looking for an MS Access/VBA Developer to work in our Houma office.

Job Summary

Responsible for creating enhancements to general business operations through custom Microsoft Access programming and company’s Enterprise Resource Planning software (Infor Visual).

Functional Responsibilities

  • Develop, prepare and disseminate operational and financial reports and dashboards.
  • Prepare financial and operational data for presentation to management.
  • Become competent in company financial reporting software in order to create dashboards for various job roles.


Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access programing and operation including creating linked tables in Microsoft SQL Server, designing Queries, Forms, Reports and Macros, and programming in Visual Basic for Access.

Specialized Knowledge, Critical Skills and Competencies

Strong analytical, organizational and computer skills. Capable of logical and analytical thought. Knowledge of basic cost accounting principles.
