Houma, La. – CORTEC has been awarded a contract to supply buffer manifold packages on four Odebrecht Drillships.

The scope of supply includes 3 and 6 inch nominal compact, metal-seated ball valves with electric actuation. This system was designed by CORTEC engineering to fit within a specific footprint by utilizing CORTEC’s compact valve designs. These units are expected to see operations between the fourth quarter 2014 and the second quarter 2015.
