Houma, La. – CORTEC has been awarded a contract to provide electrically actuated chokes for the WARA Pressure Maintenance Project in Kuwait. The ultimate end user will be the Kuwait oil company (KOC). The Chokes are manufactured using Super Duplex and will be automated using electrically powered actuators. CORTEC worked with KOC’s appointed engineering Contractor located in Korea, who purchased the chokes on behalf of KOC, delivery is scheduled for third quarter of 2013.
