CORTEC has been contracted to supply the API 6AV1 Rated Boarding Shut Down Valve package for a major operator in the Gulf of Mexico. The subsea tieback project will expand an existing floating production facility in the Gulf of Mexico. The scope of supply includes 55 valves ranging from half to 6 inch nominal bore and 15,000 PSI rating. All valves will include tungsten carbide metal to metal seated ball and seat in addition to Inconel later this year.
