Port Allen, La. – CORTEC delivered four 7-1/16 inch, 10K compact ball valves to be placed into service in the turret of Petrobras’ Cascade-Chinook FPSO in the Gulf of Mexico. These valves were manufactured to meet the specific dimensional requirements of the customer. These valves are configured with Inconel 625 seal areas and Super Duplex Tungsten Carbide balls and seats.  The valves will serve as the ship’s boarding shutdown valves (BDSVs) and are 6AV1 certified.
