Chevron Awards Cortec Manifold Systems Compact Valve For Tahiti Phase II

Lafayette, Louisiana – Chevron North America has awarded Cortec Manifold Systems (CMS) the supply of Compact Ball and Check Valves for its Tahiti II project. These compact valves will be used for the Tahiti Phase II Water Injection Module. CMS will provide 10,000PSI Ball and Check valves ranging in size from 1″ to 10″. The ball valves will vary between Lever-Operated and Gear/Hydraulically actuated. CMS will manufacture these valves with a combination of Nickel Plating and Inconel Cladding to increase their corrosion resistance.

Tahiti’s Water Injection Module is designed to filter and pump up to 100,000 BPD of sea water into the well reservoir at designed pressures up to 10,000 PSI, for enhanced oil and gas recovery.

CMS is on the cutting edge of supplying innovative solutions for their customer base. CMS’ engineering and manufacturing capabilities permit CMS to deliver high quality Compact Valves to endure years of reliable service.
